Quite alot of things had happened since my last post.. I really dunno why I've been having terrible mood swings these past wk.. I can be super happy one moment (nominated to be leader for Youth Conference for UG Leader & DREAMS 5 nominated for Youth Embrace Social Service Award & of course gg KL) & super upset another moment (some mis-communication btw me & Ms Ng SL which I won't elaborate cos it's settled, $$ gone missing from my hm locked drawer over the wkend when I was in KL.. Haiz..) My anger really scares my on both occasions and the disgust at which my $$ was stolen at hm was overwhelming.. I tink nobody has seen that kinda anger in me so far, nobody.... I was so angry tat my gastric protested 2 full days!! Now, anyone has lobang for Anger Management?? Judging at the rate tat I'm gg, I might explode out-of-control one day & I might hurt ppl wif my words and I really fear my power over psychological torture.. Dear God, wad must I do to prevent myself from hurting others and in the end, myself?? haiz.. The next day after the episode, JW sent me a sms "yah lor yr temper swing than tmr temper see-saw then next day temper slide :) then v soon u haf a temper playgrd! excited anot?!" haha.. This guy over here really noe hw to make my day sia.. I was laughing @ his sms straight after lunch.. This guy's really miraculous.. Haha.. See.. I mood swing again!! OMG!!
Enuf of the depressed issue.. Nw's time for happy event!! Team leader for Youth Conference for UG leaders.. Woohoo.. Jus received an e-mail yesterday to inform on the pre-conference briefing on next Wed.. Haiz.. Dunno why the organiser kept changing dates.. Argh.. Nw, I'm really nt very impressed le.. They're behaving like the whole world evolves ard them & we haf to suit their timing.. Arghh.. Juz like some idiotic leader I have.. Even though it's nt compulsory to attend, I tink it best for me to attend as I'm 1 of the team leaders for my YA.. The other leader is Michelle.. Dun wanna gif ppl chance to say I'm irresponsible & not commited.. WAD AN INSULT!! Bt tat also makes I've to forgo my company dinner.. Haiz.. Nvm.. I tink this conference more impt.. Oh, coming back to the topic, the youth conference is very different from the previous youth conferences I've attended, mainly cos of a requirement for this conference "open to youth leaders age 17-22. limit 60 pax per UG. 3 facilitators needed (above 21)" I still rmb the 1st time I saw this requirement, I was reading & re-reading a few times, thinking to myself, oh yeah, this time round we won't haf OLD PPL in the conference anymore.. Yeah.. We won't gt to hear the HQ ppl & UG teacher i/c whining anymore!! Yeah..
Next, Dreams 5 has been shortlisted for Youth Embraces Social Service Award!! Yeah.. LianYi, Bryan & SiongHui had already did the ppt to the panel of judges.. Nw waiting for the outcome.. Bt according to Lester mths b4 the expedition, our expedition is quite different from the requirement, in the sense that we're in between, tailor-made to out UG context.. Let me explain the difference.. For sec sch category, the sec sch kids do not nd to do the planning for part of the expedition.. For the tertiary category, we haf to do @ least 2 wks (if i rmb correctly).. However, in our case, our sec sch darlings were actually trained to plan & do ppt (sth i'm proud of them for) for part of the expedition program & the leaders did more of the external liaising.. Honestly, even if we ended up nt winning this award due to the requirements, I wouldn't be too dissappointed cos I noe we've gained much more than those "common expeditions".. My Dreams family had gained more than wad they'd haf gained as compared to the "common expeditions".. Trust me.. Cos during my sec 4 yr in MFSS, a grp of SC had went for an overseas volunteering service to Thailand, bt ended up coming back nth much to say.. Nw I finally understood why.. Cos every details was planned for them & they're only dummies to follow instructions.. Wad an insult!! SC being dummies!! Hahaha..
For my KL trip, it was fun la.. Pics I'll upload when I've gt time.. Hehe.. Oh ya.. Short updates.. We took Grassland coach (thank god we upgrade the coach, if nt 6 hrs w/o movies will be toturous).. We stayed in Swiss Garden Hotel (the breakfast is the same for both days.. Haiz..) We went to Sungei Wang, Lot 10, Times Square.. Really too many shops to shop le la.. Haha.. Oh.. N the 3 ladies (me, adel & pam) went to do pedicure.. Cheaper than S'pore by @ least S$10+.. Hmm... ended up buying quite a few stuffs for close frenz.. N a slipper (*winkz*) for myself (though nt really cheaper bt really very comfy.. Teva brand de.. No wonder Bernard loves to wear his slipper)..

Wa.. Long time no blog le wor.. Dunno where to start.. Well, maybe I shld start by explaining my absence.. I was working "part-time" for another boss.. Act I dun really like this boss lei.. His instruction's super ambiguious (did I spell correctly?) lor.. Hmm.. Ok dun waste my time complaining here.. Here's a quick update..
15th August: I attended my company's event which includes meeting, buffet lunch & bowling @ S'pore Chinese Swimming Club.. Meeting's short & sweet.. Lunch quite nice.. (The green bean soup makes me tink of Dreams 5 & hw I shared a bowl of green bean soup wif Dovin.. Sobs..) Bowling's super fun.. I managed to score an average of 65 pts despite my previous score of 55 pts.. Haha.. den being a super slacker, I din go back to office after the bowling like the other secretaries.. Hehe.. I do my fav SMILE @ my uncle & I said if he go hm den I go his hm for dinner cooked by ah ma.. Den he said ok!! Woohoo.. Haha.. Den after dinner, I went to watch Transformers wif JW, which was like "woohoo", really super cool movie.. Luckily I watched it @ cinema, if nt I might kill myself for nt doing so.. Thx JW for mentioning it & picking me up from my ah ma's aka uncle's hm..

17th August: I met Adel, PW & my sis for dinner @ MS where we met YL, Edwin & KJ for Fireworks.. I would say nt bad cos of the Heart-Shaped fireworks.. Den all of us except PW went to the pub opp Suntec Convention Hall to celebrate YL's b'day.. Sidetrack abit.. Tat was the 1st time I saw this guy.. He's Edwin didi de bunk buddy.. Ok come back.. KJ & I went to buy him a slice of b'day cake & a special b'day present.. The band dere nt bad.. Nw looking forward to my b'day le.. Where JW said we're gg to the Indo-Chine pub @ Wisma Atrium.. Wondering whether dere'll be band on my b'day.. Hmm.. Oh ya.. The German Beer @ tat pub was nice..
18th August: Went to watch fireworks wif Kor, PW, Adel, my sis & her bf @ Esplanade.. Slightly better view than the nite b4.. Hmm.. Somehow to atmosphere's nt as gd as last yr.. Hmm.. Really appreciate kor's humour.. So entertaining.. haha..
19th August: Stayed @ hm & rot.. Den Adel came & deliver M'sian $..
20th August: Went to wk den went hm to rot..

Last nite, I waited one & a half hr for JW to come fetch me from office.. The moment I stepped into his car marks the start of the nerve-wrecking car ride.. He said tat tat was the first time he drove onto unfamiliar highway, somemore at nite.. Well, if u ask me to describe the whole trip, I'd said, "dere're 2 extremes to fear, one's profuse laughter; the other's profuse tearing." Hmm.. I tink I was laughing til tearing the whole of the trip.. From Paya Lebar to PIE, we shld exit by Corporation Rd to Jurong Pt. Instead, we exited @ Jurong East/West Ave 1.. OMG!! We practically were clueless as to where to go.. So, I must say I used my "woman's intuition" & asked JW to turn into Boon Lay Drive.. Den I juz tried my luck by betting 51% on a right turn.. Den JW said we shld turned left instead.. Anyway, as we argued over it, I saw a glimpse of hope!! Jurong Pt's sign!! Woohoo.. Yeah!! We congrats each other for finding the place @ the other end of PIE.. Haha.. It's also @ tat pt tat I've reached the peak of hysteria (did i spell correctly).. I was laughing & tearing @ the same time.. OMG!! Bt tat wasn't the end.. We missed the entrance into the carpark so had to go ONE BIG ROUND to park the car..
One compliment for Mr. Tan Jia Wei - HIS PARKING SKILL IS SUPERB! I'm super impressed by his reverse parking.. He can really park real straight.. Hehe..
Btw, if u're wondering why we went all the way to Jurong Pt, it's all cos of Bernice lor.. She called me when I was waiting for JW to pick me up from office & complained tat she was bored in NTU hostel, so asked us to go JP find her.. Haha.. We ate our all-time fav 'ban mian' @ JP kopitiam & did our fav "crapping session".. Muahahaha.. After tat, the 3 of us watch Rush Hour 3.. The movie's really damn funny lor.. From the start to the end.. Haha..
After tat, JW sent Ber back to her NTU hostel.. OMG!! NTU late in the nite still quite happening sia.. Haiz.. Too bad I can't get into NTU.. Honestly, I'm super sad & disappointed sia.. Haiz.. Haiz.. Haiz.. Nvm.. The drive back to my home's also quite nerve-wrecking.. From KJE to BKE to PIE to YCK Rd.. Really "you jin wu xian".. Bt took quite some time though.. We started one topic & I turned really EMO.. Haiz.. Cos I no longer noe hw to gif anyone any advice le.. Haiz.. I tink I was too obvious cos JW asked me y i suddenly so EMO.. Well, juz today he sent me a msg telling me tat he'll always be willing to provide me wif a listening ear if I'm willing to tell.. Really touched by his words.. Such a gd fren.. Really dun understand why we once quarrelled so badly tat we almost couldn't be frenz anymore.. Hmm..

I was reading Putri's blog on weekend mugging for 'O's when lotsa memories juz came back to me.. I rmb when I was mugging for 'O's, my mugging mate was my den bf, eugene.. Our fav mugging location was either Woodlands (during wkends) or AMK library (after sch) or my hm (tat was part of the reason y my parents accepted our relationship.. cos we're study sooooo hard..) I tink the reasons for choosing these places was obvious.. I rmb ET once told me this when we were mugging for Geography @ Woodlands library, "This is the longest time I've ever mugged for any subject, nt to mention Geo.. 3 hrs straight.. Woohoo.." Tat's the pt.. U see.. Some ppl might disagree wif my view bt i believe tat as long as 2 persons are able to help each other in their lives, be it studies or career or hm affairs, nobody shld object to their relationship.. I must say tat the times spent wif ET wasn't only fun, bt also worthwhile.. Cos he'd helped me improved my Maths grade from E to A2.. OMG!! Nw, I noe some gossipmongers must be wondering, "y did they broke off den?" Well, we're nt compatible in terms of character.. N becos of tat, our break-up didn't cause us to haf any hard feelings for each other & we're nw still frenz.. hehe.. I must say tat w/o this study buddy of mine, I wldn't haf been so motivated to study.. Dere're so much tat I've experienced, so much tat so few of my peers wld be able to utd, so much tat mere studying wldn't provide.. So much..... Well, haf I digress?? Hmm.. Coming back, having someone to study together was great fun.. As long as you're able to concentrate on studying, instead of spending the precious time gossiping.. ;P

Yo ppl!! I’m back.. (“oei andreas ah.. dun tink u gt millions of viewership everyday la!!”) Haha.. I’m BACK!! Ehh.. I’ve missed 2 blogs for the past 2 days cos I was super busy @ wk la.. Dun tink I always everyday nth better to do k! Hehe.. (hee.. ok la.. abit slacker la.. *shy*) Hmm.. Quite a few things had taken place since my last entry.. Where shall I start den?? Ehh.. Let me try to be systematic by doing day-to-day going-ons..
Fri - 3rd AugI met Andrew first after wk & we walked to Army Market (in case some mountain tortoise dunno where it is, it’s on top of Golden Mile Market..) where I bought 2 light sticks & a sleeping mat (I bought for future camps & hopefully Dreams 6.. Putri, dun grin!! :p Thx Andrew for helping me carry til I board the train ltr tat nite).. Recce on Deuter haversack & found it really expensive!! OMG!! Bt I tink it’s worth the $$, esp for me cos I’ll be gg camping & probably backpacking very often.. It’ll be wise to invest on a good bag which has designs to support my spinal cords.. (Putri & fellow juniors, I highly urge u to invest in a gd bag if u’re a ‘camper’.. (*,*)) After my jalan jalan session @ army market, we went to Golden Mile market for Tang Yuan while we wait for Adel & Edwin didi.. After eating the tang yuan (sesame one’s still my fav), we went over to Golden Mile Complex to bk our KL trip tix.. Well, the complex is really very “Thailand” with lotsa Thai workers gathering ard dere.. Andrew & I reached first & so, went to Five Stars Travel to ask for quotation.. Though it’s more expensive than Grassland, I feel that the customer service is better.. However, in the end we still go for Grassland cos we wanna save the extra cost for shopping.. It cost each S$176 per pax for 3D2N Swiss Garden stay & 2-way coach tix.. After the booking, the 4 of us went over to Golden Mile Market for dinner.. Poor Edwin gt cough can’t really enjoy the food.. We ordered satay, BBQ chicken wings & CHOCOLATE FONDUE!! Tat was my 1st time eating chocolate fondue though.. I must say I was really impressed, wif both the food and myself cos I dun really fancy sweet chocolate.. (ps- I love dark chocolate!) Well, tat’s all for tat nite..
Sat – 4th Aug
I was slacking the whole of tat morning til ard 3pm when I gt ready for the event @ nite – JIA WEI’S BIRD-DAY!! Woohoo.. Sidetrack abit.. I still rmb 2 yrs ago, Ham & I threw him a surprise, wif the help of WY, Ber, Mr Ho & others, we sneaked a Black Forest cake into the last lesson (Mr Ho's lesson) & surprised him wif the cake when the lesson ended.. Being super playful (*heyz.. stop nodding ya head hor!!), we played cake fight & toilet was the hiding place.. Haha.. I wasn't very involved as compared to Ham, JW & WY.. Haha.. Wad to do? I'm a prim & proper gal.. hehe.. (*oei.. dun shake ya head hor!!) Ok ok.. Come back come back.. Where was I anyway? Oh ya.. I met JW & Ham @ Somerset MRT @ 430pm (nt to mention tat Ham really can't count properly.. I told him to board the 2nd cabin from the head of the train, he boarded the 4th.. OMG!!) & went to Cineleisure to buy tix for Simpsons.. Bt sad 2 say, only the first row seats were available for purchase.. No choice, we bought 4 movie tix for "Secret".. (if u're wondering whether i've gotten my maths rite, den i must say YES! cos Andrew met us @ a ltr time.. (-o-)) After tat, I suggested we go Vilage eat cos JW haven go dere dine b4.. We went in walk 1 round & the 2 guys actually protested dining dere cos it's ex & nt filling.. Ok.. Guys.. (-_-") So they suggested Swensens & we went dere for dinner.. Must say that I suggested Vilage in the first place was cos I was worried we might have to wait a long time for a table @ Swensens.. Little tat I've expected, the Swensens wasn't crowded @ all, though it was already 6+pm on a Sat evening!! OMG!! hehe.. The dinner was simply GREAT!! Partly due to the ambience & food, partly cos of the ppl dining wif me.. hehe.. Long time nv 3 of us sit together & makan le.. So happy.. So touched.. Hehe.. Ok, I admit.. I'M AN EMO KID!! Yeah.. Cos sth super bizarre had happened to me b4.. Sth so very unbelievable.. Sth tat requires super huge courage to believe.. Sth..... I almost cried watching the movie.. Almost.... It's quite a sad story.. Bt w/o a tragic ending.. I've proposed another ending to the 3 guys, & they actually called me a sadist.. haiz.. Oh.. So wad was the ending I've proposed? I said, "the ending so goes like this.. when Jay went back to 20 yrs ago, it was 1 yr from the gal's death date.. he kept looking for the gal & the first gal he saw was that gal's fren who told him tat his loved one had died of asthma attack 1 yr back, shown him to her grave & the table wif the wordings on.." Imagine the heartache he would be experiencing!! Tat's y my frenz called me a sadist.. Hehe.. Wad to do?! I'm a fan of William Shakespeare..

Is Sophia blur blur lor.. Haha.. Luckily she called me sia.. If nt, even if she cabbed down to SPGG also gt high chance go wrong place cos SP gt lotsa gates.. Go wrong gate & she's a goner.. Hehe.. It's National Day!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY SINGAPORE!! I went to my ah ma hse for lunch.. Super happy to haf such a sumptous homecooked meal.. Hehe.. Tok wif JW for quite some time on the phone, trying to psycho him to go out wif me bt to no avail.. Haiz.. Den my parents & I went hm to watch NDP.. I went hm 1st wif the barang barang & my parent go buy my fav "yam ring" for dinner.. Hehe.. Juz b4 my dinner, JW called me to ask me to acc him go watch Rush Hour 3.. He gt K.O. by me cos I was already @ hm le.. Den he tried to psycho me to go watch on Sat wif him.. Den I said I already agreed to go watch 881 wif Ham le.. Haha.. Den Adel complained to me tat KJ & JY 4gt to bring their bags out for bk in ltr tat nite, so haf to go hm collect their bags.. Wahaha.. "Really worst than gals," Adel said.. Hehe.. I agreed!! Well, NDP this yr was quite nice la.. @ least I understood the theme last nite.. When I went to watch the preview wif PW few wks ago, I really can't utd a single bit sia.. Hmm..

Last nite juz found out that my YA commissioner mixed up two conferences & ended up didn't register me for this Sat's NYC Conference.. Sadz.. Haiz.. Bt wad to do?! She asked me to contact the NYC person i/c bt....... Haiz.. Nvm la.. Tml gonna celebrate JW's b'day for him.. Might be watching Simpsons.. Hehe.. Bought him a present last wk le.. hehe.. Somehow I tink I shld've gotten him a watch for his rugged NS use instead.. haiz.. Next yr ba.. Haha.. Coming to tink of it, kor finally came back from his field camp last nite!! Yeah.. N my Taiwan trip would be postponed to next yr le.. Haha.. So looking forward to my KL trip.. WooHoo.. Haha.. Oh ya.. Jus nw I asked William whether he has the comic Hunter Hunter, he said yes bt doesn't suit me cos it's action packed.. Hmm.. So I asked him wad suits me? His answer almost let my eyes pop out sia.. By now, most of my friends would have known that I blog almost everyday during office hours.. I’m super slack today.. I’ve started writing this blog using MS Words at 11am. Cos if I blog using blogger, very obvious that I’m slacking.. Haha.. Oh.. I think I’ll have to account for my MIA post yesterday right? Hmm.. I was checking up on coach and hotel prices from Singapore to KL (Malaysia) the whole of yesterday.. Would be going preferably in August/September with Andrew and Adeline (maybe Edwin going too).. Ehh.. Let me skip back to Monday night.. I went to learn how to knit ‘cable’ onto muffler.. My teachers thinks super highly of me sia.. Asked me to buy a 9.5mm needle.. (the largest needle I’ve used so far was 5.5mm..) So scary.. I was quite slow initially.. Cos 9.5mm needle is the second largest needle in the family of knitting needles.. However, I must say that I’ve talent in this field cos I could handle the needle after awhile.. My teacher even praised me for almost perfect handling of thread (another student couldn’t handle the elastic thread that I’ve used before) in front of the other students.. Haha.. So surprised she could still remember.. I think I must have left an impression cos I was the first person to start using the elastic thread when the stock first came.. And I even completed a blouse some more.. Hehe.. So proud of myself.. (*o*) Yesterday, nothing much happened except that I was on msn actively trying to liaise with Andrew and Adeline on the time and information of out KL trip.. Haiz.. Can’t finalize on a date cos I’ll be busy on weekends after next week.. Hmm.. I’ve better decide asap or I’ll kena K.O. by both of them soon.. Haha.. Today’s similar as yesterday.. Nothing much to do in office.. Hazel’s last day was yesterday so today there’s another secretary taking over her.. Sianz.. Generation gap sia.. 42 years old leh!! OMG!! Early in the morning reached office, already saw Hazel’s memento on my desk.. Haha.. A simple paper clip with a personalized message.. So sweet!! Hmm.. Saw Lester online and started feedback to him it’s time to get his scouts to clear their portion of the scouts’ room le.. Also told him about MFSS’s unfair politics.. Sianz.. Haiz.. Meanwhile, I was crapping with Ham.. Haha.. Then I put up a “zhi pi er tong” emoticon on msn and Ham asked me to stop drawing circles.. But does he know drawing circle has its special meaning to me? I’ve changed my mind.. Shall not tell Ham about that special meaning.. Guess I’ll keep it a secret between both of us.. Hehe.. Thinking back, I’m not even half sure whether that secret exist or not.. Haiz..
Oh ya.. Have told Putri I’ll blog some stuffs on my Sec sch Prom Nite.. Here goes……. Long before your time, in the northern part of Singapore, there stood a school by the name Mayflower Secondary School. It was a school with two campuses and every student enjoying studying there because of the low school politics statistic. In this school, there was a student by the name, Andreas. She really enjoyed studying in this school because her best friend since Primary One was enrolled into the same school. By fate, Andreas and her best friend, Sophia, joined Girl Guide because of the very interesting uniform and proficiency badges. That was one choice that had changed her life, for the better, of course. In that CCA, she had learnt the importance of teamwork and initiative. She was an extrovert by nature and had made friends easily. All her friends are each other’s friend. She had always prided herself as an all-rounded Girl Guide. Andreas was born a leader. Since primary one, she had been in class committee and had continued until she had graduated from secondary school. She was also a peer mediator. Throughout the four years of schooling in Mayflower, she had gone through several camps, school-based and international. She had been involved in several major school events like Speech Day and Musical Night. Being a leader in her Sec Three/Four year had not been a bed of roses for her and yet, with the support from her friends and family, she had managed to pull through. She had much to thank her parents; for the trust they had in her, for letting her go to camps and spent hours on her CCA cum hobby. The final year in Mayflower was simply both exhausting and exciting, with the escalating school work and CCA commitments, not forgetting her budding first love. She was glad her first love was someone who would study with her, always ready to coach her in her weakest area, Mathematics. With his help, her grade had leap from F9 to A2. Being able to have someone to study together, working towards the same goal was great fun! However, he broke up with her just one week before our ‘O’-levels. Despite so, she refused to let that breakup affect her and she really put in her heart and soul into the exams, which she had really scored very well. Prom night was right after the exams and she attended with her bunch of bachelorette friends. It was real fun, with them coming to her home to make-up right before the event and they took taxi to the venue, Yio Chu Kang Grassroot Club. Without a boyfriend, her whole idea of a romantic night was ruined. However, she was surprised at the amount of fun she had with her friends, sitting together and enjoyed the night. Well, that night ended with her ex-boyfriend sending her a sms saying, “You are beautiful tonight.” With that, her secondary school life had come to an end. No amount of words would be able to fully describe her whole wonderful secondary school life.
