Quite alot of things had happened since my last post.. I really dunno why I've been having terrible mood swings these past wk.. I can be super happy one moment (nominated to be leader for Youth Conference for UG Leader & DREAMS 5 nominated for Youth Embrace Social Service Award & of course gg KL) & super upset another moment (some mis-communication btw me & Ms Ng SL which I won't elaborate cos it's settled, $$ gone missing from my hm locked drawer over the wkend when I was in KL.. Haiz..) My anger really scares my on both occasions and the disgust at which my $$ was stolen at hm was overwhelming.. I tink nobody has seen that kinda anger in me so far, nobody.... I was so angry tat my gastric protested 2 full days!! Now, anyone has lobang for Anger Management?? Judging at the rate tat I'm gg, I might explode out-of-control one day & I might hurt ppl wif my words and I really fear my power over psychological torture.. Dear God, wad must I do to prevent myself from hurting others and in the end, myself?? haiz.. The next day after the episode, JW sent me a sms "yah lor yr temper swing than tmr temper see-saw then next day temper slide :) then v soon u haf a temper playgrd! excited anot?!" haha.. This guy over here really noe hw to make my day sia.. I was laughing @ his sms straight after lunch.. This guy's really miraculous.. Haha.. See.. I mood swing again!! OMG!!
Enuf of the depressed issue.. Nw's time for happy event!! Team leader for Youth Conference for UG leaders.. Woohoo.. Jus received an e-mail yesterday to inform on the pre-conference briefing on next Wed.. Haiz.. Dunno why the organiser kept changing dates.. Argh.. Nw, I'm really nt very impressed le.. They're behaving like the whole world evolves ard them & we haf to suit their timing.. Arghh.. Juz like some idiotic leader I have.. Even though it's nt compulsory to attend, I tink it best for me to attend as I'm 1 of the team leaders for my YA.. The other leader is Michelle.. Dun wanna gif ppl chance to say I'm irresponsible & not commited.. WAD AN INSULT!! Bt tat also makes I've to forgo my company dinner.. Haiz.. Nvm.. I tink this conference more impt.. Oh, coming back to the topic, the youth conference is very different from the previous youth conferences I've attended, mainly cos of a requirement for this conference "open to youth leaders age 17-22. limit 60 pax per UG. 3 facilitators needed (above 21)" I still rmb the 1st time I saw this requirement, I was reading & re-reading a few times, thinking to myself, oh yeah, this time round we won't haf OLD PPL in the conference anymore.. Yeah.. We won't gt to hear the HQ ppl & UG teacher i/c whining anymore!! Yeah..
Next, Dreams 5 has been shortlisted for Youth Embraces Social Service Award!! Yeah.. LianYi, Bryan & SiongHui had already did the ppt to the panel of judges.. Nw waiting for the outcome.. Bt according to Lester mths b4 the expedition, our expedition is quite different from the requirement, in the sense that we're in between, tailor-made to out UG context.. Let me explain the difference.. For sec sch category, the sec sch kids do not nd to do the planning for part of the expedition.. For the tertiary category, we haf to do @ least 2 wks (if i rmb correctly).. However, in our case, our sec sch darlings were actually trained to plan & do ppt (sth i'm proud of them for) for part of the expedition program & the leaders did more of the external liaising.. Honestly, even if we ended up nt winning this award due to the requirements, I wouldn't be too dissappointed cos I noe we've gained much more than those "common expeditions".. My Dreams family had gained more than wad they'd haf gained as compared to the "common expeditions".. Trust me.. Cos during my sec 4 yr in MFSS, a grp of SC had went for an overseas volunteering service to Thailand, bt ended up coming back nth much to say.. Nw I finally understood why.. Cos every details was planned for them & they're only dummies to follow instructions.. Wad an insult!! SC being dummies!! Hahaha..
For my KL trip, it was fun la.. Pics I'll upload when I've gt time.. Hehe.. Oh ya.. Short updates.. We took Grassland coach (thank god we upgrade the coach, if nt 6 hrs w/o movies will be toturous).. We stayed in Swiss Garden Hotel (the breakfast is the same for both days.. Haiz..) We went to Sungei Wang, Lot 10, Times Square.. Really too many shops to shop le la.. Haha.. Oh.. N the 3 ladies (me, adel & pam) went to do pedicure.. Cheaper than S'pore by @ least S$10+.. Hmm... ended up buying quite a few stuffs for close frenz.. N a slipper (*winkz*) for myself (though nt really cheaper bt really very comfy.. Teva brand de.. No wonder Bernard loves to wear his slipper)..
