Wow.. I’ve nt blogged for 1 full wks le wor.. I’m amazed.. Guess I’m really very busy at wk ba.. Hmm.. Time to update!
Dinner With My Xiao Gu (20/09/2007)
My aunt came to my office last thurs to haf a “business talk” wif my boss (aka uncle) cos my aunt’s his client.. Haha.. Funny sia.. She went to visit my ah ma before tat & came to my office wif TWO BIG BAGS!! OMG!! The worst part is, the bags were for me.. Mooncakes from my ah ma, gifts from my xiao gu (which consist of 1 bottle of Flower by Kenzo & 1 bottle of Givenchy female perfume that my xiao gu zhang had left over after giving to his client) hmm.. Had given the Kenzo to my mum & Givenchy to my sis.. The perfume too "nu ren" for me.. I love citrus + musky smell.. haha.. Must really thank my xiao gu cos my sis used to use a cheapo perfume which had the most nauseating smell on earth.. OMG.. Anyway, she waited til I knocked off from work and we set off for Paradis for HK style steamboat.. Oh.. I must say it was a real eye-opener for me.. The chilli, for instance, is very nice & spicy.. The soup & the dishes, just one word - WOOHOO.. Bt I must say, that meal cost a bomb!! If I'm nt wrong, it's ard S$99.. OMG again! After the dinner, we went to The Cathay to have a look around where we found the Ben & Jerry's dere having a Scoopers' Lounge.. Oh my, we were so full of anticipation.. So we order our coffees & sat @ 1 corner.. The first band to perform was 52nd Street.. They specialise in 70s song.. Woohoo!! My favourite!! And they sang their own original songs too.. Very unique.. very nice.. The next team, smelly shoes, was hopeless.. The singer sang out-of-tune, heavy metal, very noisy can't even hear the singers' voice.. Xiao gu & I loves ourselves too much to continue to listen & thus, decided to make our exit.. We parted our ways after tat, with me going home and xiao gu went to Holiday's Inn to meet Uncle David..
Dinner cum Movie with UGYLC Group 14 (21/09/2007)
I chiong down to Habourfront after I knocked off from wk to meet the early birds.. Haha.. This group here is made up of mostly crappy ppl.. So funny.. Bt I still think I'm the crappiest of all.. Muahahaha.. :p That Weizi kept on arguing wif me the whole nite, from meet-up to dinner to walking ard to movie to after-movie.. Haha.. That didi very cute la.. In his own way, I would say.. I'm still the oldest dere.. Sobs sobs.. Haiz.. Anyway, after we've drawn enough $$, we went to Pastamania for dinner, wif Jasper & Shwu Yueh mtg us ltr @ Pastamania.. I bullied that Weizi by asking him to help me order my dinner.. Muahahaha.. My sphagetti came first but that STUPID WEIZI said "I tot gals' rule is to wait for everyone's food to arrive & eat together de?" OMG!! Argh!! In the end, we started eating together & the whole table has to wait for me to finish my food.. Argh!! So Paiseh!! Anyway, Jasper bought us Donuts cos he was late & it was delicious!! This guy over here is quite admirable.. Haf to cope wif studies, wk & NCDCC.. Salute him sia.. YangYi & WeiJian were so full of 'cold' jokes.. Wonder why UG members all abit (or maybe alot la) siao siao de.. Hmm.. (if you're reading this blog & u're from UG, pls stop nodding your head) Paul spoke up more this time round.. Was chatting wif him when we were on MRT homewards.. Though only for 1 stop la.. Ehh.. As for Shwu Yueh, we chatted quite alot cos we were the only gals dere & when the guys said they wanna go arcade, Shwu Yueh followed me to Daiso to gt gift boxes.. hehe.. Oh ya.. Back to dinner.. Weizi's spaghetti was the second to arrive & he was trying to make YangYi upset by showing him the steam rising from his spaghetti.. Cos everyone of us were super hungry at that time.. N they really took a long time to prepare & serve our food.. Imagine my mango & banana smoothie took ard 15-20 mins to be served?! OMG!! Somemore we've to remind them abt it.. OMG again!! Well, I joked abt it saying that the waiter must be plucking and peeling the mango & banana before they can make the smoothie.. Haha.. Poor Paul, he had to wait much longer than mine.. Haha.. By the time everyone's food was served, weizi & my spaghetti already turned cold.. Must be Karma sia.. Haha.. After dinner, we went to the roof top of vivocity & walk ard.. Weijian said Wesley nv come may be is cos he's afraid he'll haf to treat us.. Haha.. Cos he's our facilitator & the oldest of us all.. Hehe.. Anyway, the guys went to arcade & we 2 gals went to Daiso.. When we were done wif my shopping, we went to the arcade to find the guys playing pool.. Found out that Shwu Yueh dunno the basic rulez of pool.. Hmm.. No comments cos I also dun lidat play pool.. Well, Weizi really unlucky during the game cos he hit the white ball into the hole twice, the first time being I so-called 'curse' him.. Hehe.. Funny sia.. U must really see his face.. He super 'bu gan yuan' lor.. Funny.. After that, we rushed to the cinema.. We sat on the first 3rd row (if i rmb correctly) & was watching "The Invasion".. I must say the movie's quite ok.. Nicole Kidman's all-time watchable, no matter how bad the plot might be.. I love her eyes.. She really can act.. I can feel fear & desperate in her eyes.. The plot, on the whole, is just ok la.. Nth much to comment.. After the movie, which they said is gruesome, we ate the donuts bought by Jasper.. Very unique & the taste is gd.. Hmm.. Went to MRT station after that to go home.. We took pics at the platform while waiting for the train to arrive.. Still waiting for that stupid Weizi to send me the photos.. Haha.. Before we parted our ways to head home, some of us had already agreed to go nite cycling for our next outing.. So this Sunday I've to put in extra efforts to learn cycling le.. Hehe..
Slacker Day(s) - 22 to 24 Sep 07
I must admit my last wkend was spent slacking at home watching Shrek 1 & 2.. Didn't managed to find Shrek 3.. Sobs.. Mum was scolding me cos I really was slacking @ hm instead of cleaning up my room.. Must really declare that I'm quite diff from my sis, character-wise.. I love being at hm, peace! I love handicraft! I love to study! I hate to chat online wif strangers! All these, she don't like.. Hmm.. Oh.. But we haf ONE thing in common - WE LOVE TO SLEEP!! yeah.. This is my new found love, though.. Cos I used to tink sleeping is a waste of time until recently.. Btw, I went to buy some raw materials to make gifts for a friend of mine.. Shall nt say wad tat is until I've given out the gift.. Haha.. Wonder hw he'll react?! A gift that no amt of $$ can buy!! Cool!! Round XX - Andreas Won! Yeah!
Free Movies - 25 & 26 Sep 07
25/09/07 - I went to watch "Shoot 'em Up" wif PW & Adel & her fren @ Lido.. Cinema's gd, very comfy, bt movie's crap.. No plot, no acting skill.. Jus some guns & torture.. N ya, the all time favourite - sex scenes.. I'm so utterly disgusted by the lack of intelligence in tat movie.. Friends, ask yourself the following questions before u watch tat movie..
1. R u a BIMBO/brainless dude?
2. Do u haf nth better to do?
3. Do u haf lotsa $$ bt dunno hw to spend it?
4. Do u like dirty jokes?
5. R u a disgusting person?
Thank God, for me, the movie is free.. haha.. waste my time though.. Haiz..
26/09/07 - I went to watch "Hwang Jin Yi" wif PW, WY & Adel @ Shaw Tower.. Cinema sucks, audience sitting behind me super inconsiderate, movie's quite ok bt draggy.. Friends, the movie's quite ok, Song Hui Qiao is an all-time watchable lady so, fans, go watch it.. Bt if u wanna watch, go to a cinema wif comfy seatings cos the movie quite long, approx 2hr 15mins..
Wasn't a waste of time though the movie's quite draggy..
