Have you ever been asked, "what's your definition for friends?"

One of my frenz told me today that in one of my recent smses, I wrote sth that makes this fren thinks that being frenz wif me requires certain level of commitment.. I had clarified to him tat different ppl haf different feelings/prespectives towards the same issue.. I dun expect him to commit to my friendship, not in the way where he has to be by my side whenever I wan him to.. I dun haf 公主病！ Dun need my frenz to be 24-7.. Haha.. To me, being frenz is easy.. For instance, Maurice always called me whenever I least expected it.. Ham called me jus nw too, when he finally can touch his hp.. I'll tink of WeiYi even when we haven chatted for few mths & bought her a clover bracelet when i saw it in KL.. It's jus tat simple.. Friendship is mutual.. I tink of u, u tink of me.. Strangely enuf, one evening @ ard 9:30pm, I tot of calling Maurice bt couldn't due to my laundry chores.. He called me instead @ ard 10pm.. Strange rite? It happened twice so far.. n many more times when I tink he's busy, he simply called/smsed to say Hi.. Is it telepathy? Dun tink so.. It only goes to show that he tot of me often and cared enuf to call me.. Simple rite? Isn't this the way friendship's being maintained? Wad happened btw one friend and I was tat whenever I smsed him, his reply was always short (w/o emotions, meaning, expressions like 'haha'..).. In the past, I dun haf to find a reason to sms/contact him.. Bt recently, I panicked.. Simply cos I was AFRAID tat I'd disturb him wif my 'unofficial' smses.. This shldn't be the case.. I shldn't be afraid if he's a fren.. I'm so scared cos I feel distant from him.. For those who are reading this rite nw, do u utd this distant feeling? Hmm.. Thank God, he msned me today & in it he mentioned, "i really wan u to noe that i still wanna be frens with u..." This is enuf! It's enuf to set my mind to rest.. To start me smiling at him again.. Hopefully, he'll see this post.. Thank you, my friend!
