Had a really packed wkend.. N this wk will be another busy wk too.. Having to co-ordinate campfire, camp & work is no easy feat.. Wadever the case, this Camp and Campfire will be the last one before I take a really long break from Guides (meaning, I'll not be i/c for any event after that, but will still give advice if needed..).. I need to focus on my career starting this July.. In Singapore, time is money.. Speed is Success..

Anyway, i received a sms from a friend few days back.. I was stunned when i saw the msg.. Cos it's the longest sms I've received from him (for the past yr) that wasn't argumentative.. Haha.. Well, guess it's all Fate ba.. When no Fate, even hp will also auto-select not to send my smses over to him.. Haha.. Luckily, my frenz knows my other frenz.. (my social cycle very complex sia..) So, "someone" actually told him that I "complained" not having any reply for my smses and calls to him.. Haha.. Anyway, I was lazy with typing sms so I called him an hr ltr.. haha.. Was even more surprised when he suggested meeting up this wkend.. Haha.. "Sir, too bad.. I've camp this coming fri-sat" was my reply.. haha.. Hopefully, we can meet up next wk though.. I've gotten used to not being able to meet up with this fren liao.. Cos he simply is too busy le la.. I WANT TO COMPLAIN!! Haha.. How can anyone be busier than me right?

On a happier note, I'll gt to see my MFGG tee soon.. (if Putri can gt it printed in time for the camp.. Hehe..) wif the LEADER wording on right sleeve.. Hehe.. So happy.. At least this time round, we wouldn't be having Guide's Law or Promise on the tee.. Haha.. Dunno why every time sure gt these 2 things on the tee.. Almost becoming a MFGG T-Shirt Tradition liao lor.. Haha.. And this time round, it'll be Polo tee somemore.. With my size!! Haha.. Happy.. Nw gg to dinner wif my colleagues..

It’s now 9.44am and I’m currently seated in front of my office pc. The reason why I could blog so early in the morning is mainly due to my boss being out-of-office (for appointment) and his “blur-ness” for mistaking tomorrow’s training (for me) to be today. Well, this is certainly a blessing in disguise! Be prepared for a super long blog!

MAY’S BIRTHDAY PARTY (08/05/2008)

I wasn’t really in a good mood earlier that day because of a small episode happening in my life. However, my spirit took a “hot air balloon trip” as soon as I saw XY & Deming at Pasir Ris Mrt station. I has been almost 3 years since I last saw XY (though we do chat over sms or msn on Guides issues), and 7 years since I last saw Deming. As usual (according to XY & Deming), ‘emperor’ Beng Heng would be late. We caught up with each other rather quickly and I attribute that to our “Brother Scout & Sister Guide” background. For one, we could say “Hey, be kind to all living things!” and ended up all laughing. Well, that’s an insider’s joke.

Anyway, we took a bus to Downtown East and Deming was really amazed at the E!Hub (newly opened) that he ran quite some distance to take the photo with his $1,400 camera. All this while, I was on the phone with my boss. May’s party was at Costa Sands Pasir Ris and when we reached, we saw her BBQ-ing. OMG! I wanted to help but I was wearing contact lenses, so ended up sitting at a corner with XY, who was also wearing contact lenses. Anyway, we took a lot of photos. I will upload later if possible.

Met quite a few of my Sec school friends and exchanged contacts for my birthday party later this year. Beng Heng reached at around 8 plus, with a birthday card and we got down to work immediately. It had been quite some time since I last participated in the “write-birthday-card-saga” and it was really fun. Oh ya, XY & I was constantly complaining about Deming’s camera being too good = images too clear. As usual, the “cut-birthday-cake-saga” took place soon after and we retreated to the air-con after that. Beng, Deming, XY & I played Jenga to entertain ourselves. At the end of it, Deming & XY lost the first & second round respectively.

After the movie, we went our separate ways.. And I went to AMK Hub, Fairprice to buy Yomeishu for my mum’s Mother’s Day pressie.. N ended up circling the supermart 3 times for sanitary pad.. OMG! If you’re thinking it’ll be placed together with either baby dampers (did I spell correctly?) or toilet paper, den u’re wrong!! It’s placed at the cosmetic area.. OMG!! Who, with the right frame of mind, would placed SANITARY PAD WITH COSMETIC?? It’s so downright disgusting.. Placing facial products with sanitary pads!! *Faintz.. Anyway, I ended up lugging lotsa stuffs back hm.. Thank God, my mum’s happy wif my gift!! Hehe..

Honestly, my life is moving at a very fast (not super-sonic yet) speed that my blog could not catch up with.. I’ll try to update as often as I could (from office cos hm no access to blogger).. Some quick updates..

Sat – Had a 5hr TreeTop hike (at MacRitchie) wif my girls & MFYAs (PW, Putri & JY).. Made Putri & JY the leaders for the hike while PW & Myself named ourselves “secret agent P & A”.. Haha..

Sun – Went Gold Class to celebrate Soap’s b’day!! Wif PW & Brenda.. $30/tix.. $29++/set lunch.. Blah Blah Blah.. Damn broke nw.. Spent $40 on a management bk.. (I’m bk crazy) Met WY for movie, Accuracy of Death, at AMK Hub.. Soap was wif us.. Only the 3 of us.. Hmm.. Takeshi really yan dao sia.. WY & I agreed that we die also happy sia.. If the Grim Reaper is Takeshi.. Haha.. Guy-crazy!! Haha..

Mon – Last minute arranged to meet XY for book-hunting trip.. Since she’s also free tat day.. Went to bai bai prior to meeting her as time allows.. Anyway, spent another $70 on books.. Bought 4 books in total over 2 days..

Haha.. Have I ever mentioned tat tat is also my mentality? In fact, I even gt scolded by “someone” on my 18th b’day for saying sth like “I must do it right now.. Who knows, maybe I’ll die of car accident tml..” Haha.. I really tink I’m super crazy sometimes.. Who cares??

Like what JW had said, “people likes you for who you are.. And if they dun, they’ll tell you why..” Unfortunately, this type of ppl is very rare in this planet.. Some ppl can keep things to themselves for 2 yrs.. Well, that’s one gd thing abt confident ppl.. We dun care!! Haha.. Jus joking..

At one glance, my June’s super packed.. Bt I have no intention to blog down my schedule right now.. Haha.. I’m gg yoga lessons wif PW & LL starting in June.. Haha.. I’m so not excited at the thought of being laughed by PW!! *sobs*

I’ll be gg GoldClass this Sunday to celebrate Sophia’s (my BESTEST friend) b’day.. She request, I broke.. Tearing nw.. haha..

It's strange how someone could actually talk to you so much a month ago and yet stayed silent a month later.. It's strange how someone could punctuate his/her smses with "haha" over a period of time and after that, did not even reply any of your smses.. And when he/she does, it'll be precise and concise sms with no sense of emotions.. The thought of these is unsettling.. It's disappointing to see friends breaking the promises that they've made.. In fact, all these "breaking-of-promises" drama is making me feel ridiculous.. It's ridiculous how upset I would get when my friends did not honour what they've said.. It's ridiculous how mad I would get when my friends decided to cancel an appointment just because they don't feel like turning up.. But certainly, I've a right to be angry when people just did not take my time seriously! Meaning to say, when an appointment was set, the time should be used solely for the occasion.. People around me (who'd fly me airplane before) were just blind to the fact that I've put in tremendous efforts to re-schedule my other appointments just to be there.. In many such occasions, I've to weigh the importance and attend functions which I knew I wouldn't enjoy as much.. One couldn't have the best of both worlds! If this is so, I would most probably forgive them for their ignorance.. However, there is another type of people amongst them - the self centered ones.. For this, I couldn't forgive.. People who do not know how to respect others, do not deserve respect themselves.. Of course, there are exceptions among my friends whom I knew they can only give me an answer on the very day itself.. For that, I always have backup plans should they be unable to turn up.. Looking back at my younger days (though I'm still 20.. haha..), I'm truly amazed at the volume of fumes I could generate with a little disappointment.. My stand point then was - you (meaning friend) do not have the right to mess up my schedule with your no-schedule life.. As I grow older (i'm still 20.. hehe..), I came to realise that nobody would really care whether you're angry.. Afterall, what doesn't bothers them, doesn't hurt them.. In the end, it makes me feel like an idiot to care to even make them feel guilty.. Let's face it.. It's just the process of growing up.. Where people become more and more self-centered.. Afterall, we have only ourselves to be responsible to..
