It’s now 9.44am and I’m currently seated in front of my office pc. The reason why I could blog so early in the morning is mainly due to my boss being out-of-office (for appointment) and his “blur-ness” for mistaking tomorrow’s training (for me) to be today. Well, this is certainly a blessing in disguise! Be prepared for a super long blog!

MAY’S BIRTHDAY PARTY (08/05/2008)

I wasn’t really in a good mood earlier that day because of a small episode happening in my life. However, my spirit took a “hot air balloon trip” as soon as I saw XY & Deming at Pasir Ris Mrt station. I has been almost 3 years since I last saw XY (though we do chat over sms or msn on Guides issues), and 7 years since I last saw Deming. As usual (according to XY & Deming), ‘emperor’ Beng Heng would be late. We caught up with each other rather quickly and I attribute that to our “Brother Scout & Sister Guide” background. For one, we could say “Hey, be kind to all living things!” and ended up all laughing. Well, that’s an insider’s joke.

Anyway, we took a bus to Downtown East and Deming was really amazed at the E!Hub (newly opened) that he ran quite some distance to take the photo with his $1,400 camera. All this while, I was on the phone with my boss. May’s party was at Costa Sands Pasir Ris and when we reached, we saw her BBQ-ing. OMG! I wanted to help but I was wearing contact lenses, so ended up sitting at a corner with XY, who was also wearing contact lenses. Anyway, we took a lot of photos. I will upload later if possible.

Met quite a few of my Sec school friends and exchanged contacts for my birthday party later this year. Beng Heng reached at around 8 plus, with a birthday card and we got down to work immediately. It had been quite some time since I last participated in the “write-birthday-card-saga” and it was really fun. Oh ya, XY & I was constantly complaining about Deming’s camera being too good = images too clear. As usual, the “cut-birthday-cake-saga” took place soon after and we retreated to the air-con after that. Beng, Deming, XY & I played Jenga to entertain ourselves. At the end of it, Deming & XY lost the first & second round respectively.

After the movie, we went our separate ways.. And I went to AMK Hub, Fairprice to buy Yomeishu for my mum’s Mother’s Day pressie.. N ended up circling the supermart 3 times for sanitary pad.. OMG! If you’re thinking it’ll be placed together with either baby dampers (did I spell correctly?) or toilet paper, den u’re wrong!! It’s placed at the cosmetic area.. OMG!! Who, with the right frame of mind, would placed SANITARY PAD WITH COSMETIC?? It’s so downright disgusting.. Placing facial products with sanitary pads!! *Faintz.. Anyway, I ended up lugging lotsa stuffs back hm.. Thank God, my mum’s happy wif my gift!! Hehe..
