Joseph get to know a gal called Rachel n they go on a long relationship stretching 3 yrs.. during tis 3 yrs, they tried living under the same roof to get early experience of marriage life.. "R" is very caring to J, handling almost all the chores such as preparing toothbrush n paste in the morning, helpin J to tie shoelace(haha), iron all of J's clothes, do laundry, satifying all of J's NEEDS (hehe wat r u tinking of?) but all EXCEPT preparing normal meals at home.

one day, J's mother wanted to meet the prospective daughter-in-law (R) over a dinner. SHe is really anxious to find out wat kind of gal she is becos J is her only SON. when R knew about it, she starts to panick. She asked J, " can u stay home today to help me prepare the meal?". J lied, "no, there is a big client today i mus meet, and if i manage to clinch a deal, i can buy a much bigger house near the seaside". But in actual fact, J had already bought the house but he declined to help becos he knew his mother is testing R's sincerety.

Evening came, and when J reach home, he realised R had planned a dinner outside in a restaurant. J's mother was so infuriated during the dinner inside restaurant, especially since the food is so salty n not nice. She can feel that R is simply not sincere at all, n she storm out of the restaurant.. J became v angry also n walked away chasing after his mother, nvr going b to R. Poor R jus finished up the whole plate of very saltish vege n cried there..

5 mths later, J starts to miss R, and coincidentally, he met her in a supermarket. he ask for her forgiveness but R replied no. he carried on askin the reason for tat day's incident, and R explained...actually, R had lost her sense of taste bud. in all tat 3 yrs, nvr once did J noticed tat, n J suddenly rmb the first meal he made for R is only a dull response from her. J apologised n asked her to go b to him, but at tat pt of time, he saw the ring on R's finger.

R's new husband took jus 1 yr to realise R's incapability to taste, n when R ask him if he mind, he said, 'No, because i love you...." J, upon hearing tis account, immediately shouted, "But I LOVE YOU TOO!" R replied, "no, u onli love me for my love for u, for all my care n concern for u." J jus collapse n sobbed heavily while R walked away w/o explaining further.
