Well, just in case some of u r interested to noe wad it's like to go for drips in a hospital, here goes....
*
I went for drips at Tan Tock Seng Hospital ytd due to food poisoning at ard 10am.. Registered, took body temperature & made payment ($85 flew off) before waiting for my name to be called.. Then it's measuring of blood pressure (and they do it very often thru/out the drips to ascertain whether I've enuf fluid in my body) & becos my heart rate was too fast, they sent me to do ECG.. OMG!! A while ltr, I was told to see the doctor before they put me on drips.. (I wonder wad kinda injection the doctor gave me cos it left me wif blurry vision.. Hmm..) Anyway, while I was on drips, they offered porridge/bun/milo/plain water (2 rounds).. I took 2 cups of milo, a few mouthful of porridge & 1 cup of plain water.. (while my sis kapok some porridge during the 2nd round..) I was put on a total of 3+ packets of drips before the doctor confirmed my discharge.. Thank God, the medicine & the food wasn't charged at an additional cost.. Heng ah..
